Krysta Nicole Rutherford completed the film at the age of 16. She attends Hampton Roads Academy (HRA) and is a member of the Mill Swamp Indian Horse Youth Program. She has led an effort to save the Colonial Spanish Mustang since she adopted her Corolla mustang, Katalina, in 2013. She reached over 50,000 people with her previous "Saving The Mustangs" project.

Besides my passion for the Mustangs and Gold Scouts, I enjoy Irish Dancing, Cinderella Scholarship Program, Sailing, Theater, Community Service, and other outdoor activities.
Irish Dancing -
I have been a dancer for 10 years with Kathy Nelson, Rose and Sword Academy of Irish Dance and have competed and performed in many events, including retirement and nursing homes and Christmas performances.

As the 2016-2017 Miss Virginia Cinderella Teen, I had the opportunity on many occasions to speak about the Colonial Spanish Mustangs and the filming of "The Forgotten Horses" (click Cinderella to read more).
I have competed in the Miss Virginia Cinderella Scholarship Program for 10 years. I have achieved other titles - Miss Virginia Talent, Photogenic, and Cover Girl. State of Virginia Representative in the International Cinderella Scholarship Program
